I decided to choose the medium of painting because I want to try something new. I think that painting is interesting and there are different ways to paint. I decided to explore the medium of creative photography because I enjoy taking photos with different objects.

At the beginning, I was interested in digital art but not painting. Digital arts seemed easy to me because I’ve been doing it for a while now and when I make mistakes, I can easily fix it unlike other mediums.

I think I’m a pretty good photographer because my dad studied photography in university, and I got inspired by him. When I started to be interested in photography, I was unsuccessful because I didn’t really know about how lightning can affect your photos, or how the grid can affect the angles etc. I have improved a lot since I learned more about these techniques and others.

One of the artists that I got inspired by is Feliks Kaparchuk (colorbyfeliks) on Instagram. I watched his videos and tried some out. At first, I started with a small canvas and soon recreated one of his works on a larger canvas.

My biggest challenge this year is when I started to work on my remembrance project. It was really hard for me to draw something realistic. My greatest success was my Inktober series of drawings which took around half a month to finish. It turned out better than I expected it would be. I usually make a lot of mistakes so I don’t think that I would be able to work with ink but I did. I was very proud of myself.

I hope my viewers will see the elements of art in my work. Some of my creations give different feelings and thoughts. As an artist, I want to tell the viewer that even a simple piece could have multiple interpretations. When you do art, it's not like getting paint and brush and then just painting. You need to think about what techniques you are going to do and think about the elements of art and principles of design. It's a lot harder than what everyone thinks.

I hope my viewers will like the photos that I created. I want to tell my viewers that the creative process is very awkward sometimes but if you stick to it, your product will be amazing. We can be very creative and use various objects around us to create amazing photos.
