KYLE SAURMAN

My name is Kyle Saurman and I am an art student at Ashbury College Junior School. I enjoy drawing and photography the most, however I am best at my personally created font. I enjoy listening to music. I find certain art fascinating, as when you look at certain work you are forced to feel a certain mood. What I do creates an atmosphere that is near unachievable in other mediums. That is why I chose drawing, and photography as the mediums I wanted to explore.
This last year I have found the mediums I am good at, graphic design, and the mediums I need to improve on, drawing and painting. I have also become more knowledgeable about famous artists. My personal favorite artists are Salvador Dahli and Bob Ross.I have also been inspired by Leonardo da Vinci. I wrote his name next to his portrait backwards, as he wrote backwards so you could only read it through a mirror.
I was also inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. He is most known as a civil rights activist, however I like to think of him as a man who wanted to make a difference, so I refer to him as Martin Luther King junior, the activist.
I hope that my viewers will get a mood swing of some sort when they see my artwork. If I could, I would tell the world to make young people work harder. Most kids just go home and play video games or watch tv. I am working on inspiring my peers to go and do something to help, however they don’t listen. I am satisfied because I do all that I can, without forcing them to do things. If I forced them to do things our relationship would cease and they would have no personal drive to do things. I do much volunteer work, moving people who can’t afford moving companies and when the hurricanes came to Louisiana I was there cleaning out the mold in people's homes and doing whatever I could to help. Thank you for reading,
