My work is based off of my dreams. I wanted to create something that people can feel and visualize, I hope they experience a feeling of surrealness that erases the division between dreams and reality.

Painting my dreams is always something I’ve always envisioned to do, I wanted others to experience what I did and see it through my perspective. In the past, I’ve tried to deliver my thoughts to many of my friends, but it is difficult to paint what I visualize. I thought that it might be interesting and unique to present it this way, as art, in order to make the message clearer and more touching.

While creating this project, I’ve wanted to try out new mediums that I’m not familiar with and also use mediums I currently use so that my art will look appealing but still be creative. I have learned to produce art in different forms and work with others to create something I enjoy and like. 

Throughout this process I have been inspired by many artists. I learned to incorporate more elements as well as add more detail and creative elements in my art. Some of the artists that inspired me are: Daniel Ignacio, Artyom Chebokha and Dimitra Milan.

I’ve also encountered many difficulties throughout the creation of my project. It's been difficult to come up with ideas that are unique or different, since many have already been done before, as well as creating art when I’m outside of my bedroom, since I’m not in my comfort zone.

So far, I’ve been continuing to create art as well as learning through the process and my mistakes. I hope people could view my art as how I thought when I was creating them and understand the message within my work.
