I have chosen to work in photography because I admired it and looked at Yousuf as well as Malek Karsh. After seeing their amazing photos I decided to try it myself. 

When I started studying art I wasn't sure what I wanted to work on throughout the year as well as knowing what I enjoy. During this project, I started looking into photography and a specific kind of photography such as landscape photography and that interested me a lot more and I would enjoy working on the art project.

The three artists Yousef Karsh and his brother Malek Karsh as well as Thomas Heton. These three significant and famous photographers produced some of the best and eye-catching photos I have ever seen. Seeing this work is what inspired me to do photography. 

My greatest success was when Kyle and I went outside to take landscape pictures and we took one of him on the bench by himself to resemble the Taj Mahal Princess Diana image. The picture is expressing her loneliness during her marriage to Prince Charles. Some people say she took this picture to express how she was feeling in this “doomed marriage” along with the loneliness she was feeling but others said it was just a picture. The picture that Kyle and I took of him sitting on a bench was recreating that image. My biggest challenge was at the start of my project when I was thinking of ideas of what to do.

I would hope that my viewers would understand landscape photography and normal photography and how it attracts people's minds to the photos and how it makes them think. Landscape photography causes the mind to think about what they are seeing. It can also change their mood if it's a rainy day or an early morning sunrise.
