I chose this project because I enjoy illusions in photography, different angles to create unique, mesmerizing photos. I am very interested, when looking at photography and noticing different lighting skills and objects, to create effects. I think makeup is a very creative form of art; you have to be very precise and proportioned to create an elegant look which brings out the beauty of each face. Fashion is another creative art form.  Different colours and styles of clothes create an interesting outfit and appearance. 

When I first started doing art and photography, I knew how to get interesting angles and colours, but I never looked at illusions or different reflections. I’ve now seen and learned how to do this and take eye confusing photos. When I first started looking into makeup artists and fashion, I didn’t know how to create a colourful look on the face but then I saw artists and learned different techniques. 

When I looked at James Charles’ Instagram page with his makeup approaches, I got inspired to not just do normal everyday makeup, but to try to do art on the face and make it look original. I also enjoyed looking at Kylie Jenner's page, she has very interesting eye makeup approaches as well. 

My biggest challenge was doing makeup looks, it’s very hard to be precise and even with application, because once you make one mistake on your face, you have to restart; it’s that precise.

I want my viewers to look at my photos, and though they may be confused at first by what they are looking at and see different illusions. I want them to see all the different colours and designs used because it opens up creativity in the mind to be able to see different objects and looks.
